This is why I’m NEVER leaving Vancouver:

Vancouver is always mild compared to every other part of Canada I’ve visited – thank you, Pacific Ocean – and while you’d think I’d be used to it after what will be six years in April, I’m always delighted to be reminded of how great it can be. Andrew Livingstone Park is just to the East of us, and we’re there every night walking Rumble in the perpetually green grass.

It’s always well lit in the park because of the regulation size soccer fields, which are so in-demand that they’re used pretty much every night. Soccer games and tournaments are the most popular of course, but there’s no shortage of Ultimate games and tourneys, baseball and softball games, and even football occasionally. I find it hard to bitch about the rain in December, January and February when there’s a hundred teenagers running around in shorts and t-shirts from dawn to dark every frickin’ day!

January 5th, 2010 - Like every other day in the park.

About Christopher

Married to a sweet fella, proud papa to tiny, furry sweet fella. Enjoys beer, pop-culture junkie-ing and ronking with the best of them. My personal philosophy is summed up thusly: "Zombie robots will fuck your shit up."
