So Rumble’s been looking like a hippie.  Very shaggy and sheepdoggish, as you can see here below:

Embarking on his next career as Chewbacca's Stunt double. Yes, I said "embarking".

So, we took him to Fetch and got him a haircut from the only people we currently trust with our dog outside of John, Kelli and our vet.

Rumble's become suspicious of our intentions towards him.

Fetch is at #104, 120 16th Street in North Vancouver, if anyone’s interested in going for the first time.

The ladies there are very nice and seem to really dig the puppies, which I’d imagine would be a prerequisite for a great dog groomer.

When we came to pick him up (early, too) Rum was all set and wearing a snazzy bow on his collar, to which we gave a little “aww” for the benefit of our very nice groomer.  Then we took him outside…

Where he proceeded to give the most evil shit poop I’ve seen from him for as long as I remember.  I’m thinking this is his way of critiquing his new ‘do.

Anyways…

We like Fetch – compared to our last few attempts at finding a good dog barber, they’ve been amazing, so I seriously doubt they’re beating him up or anything while giving him a trim.

I’m thinking he’s just freaked out about us going away and leaving him in a strange place; the bath and trim  are just evil details added on.  The Zipcar ride out to North Vancouver sure as hell didn’t help, either.

Anyway, if you’ve got a fuzzy dog, go to Fetch for the grooming – they’re definitely worth the trip.

He's become a master of the post-haircut sulk.
